Safety Training including Human Factor – Initial Course

Introduction

The course meets the requirements of the initial training in the field of the Safety Management System in the CAMO environment, in accordance with the recommendations of EASA included in the Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) and Guidance Material (GM) to Annex V c (Part-CAMO) to the Regulation of the European Commission (EU) No. 1321/2014, GM 2 CAMO.A. 305. 

The aim of the course is to familiarize participants with the issue of the human factor during aircraft maintenance and with the elements of the safety management system.

Target group

Personnel providing or in the other way connected to maintenance of aircraft, as well as personnel required by law to complete the training due to the position held in the maintenance organization.

Teaching objectives

  • understanding the basic concepts of aviation safety;
  • ability to incorporate human factor knowledge and integrate it into key aviation areas; 
  • safety during performance of aircraft maintenance; 
  • learning key human performance issues relevant to maintenance operations; 
  • understanding of safety and human factors principles; 
  • ability to consider human performance limitations and their potential impact on daily routine.
