Risk and Change Management – Workshops

Introduction

The workshops are devoted to risk and change management in accordance with the EASA guidelines. 

The course provides information on how successfully perform a risk assessment of identified hazards and avoid common mistakes. It also shows how to integrate safety incidents into risk assessment and how to perform risk assessments as part of change management procedures to ensure effective implementation of changes. Practical exercises take place after each theoretical session. 

Prerequisites

Participants are asked to bring a laptop to the course in order to gain access to training materials (materials will be made available only in electronic form).

Participants are required to have knowledge on safety management systems. 

Target group

A wide group of representatives of aviation industry institutions: airport services, maintenance organizations, air operators, aviation authorities.

Teaching objectives

  • Understanding the business value of making operational decisions based on risk assessment; 
  • Assessing the impact of effective risk management on the cycle of supervision and understanding the risk management requirements; 
  • Learning about advantages and disadvantages of different models; 
  • Understanding how the change management works; 
  • Understanding the ARMS methodology;
  • Becoming familiar with the available different types of risk management software
